The trails started out pretty firm from grooming and the cold temps at night. Got a few runs in on ralph's to get my legs back from not riding for a couple weeks. Moved over to 10th and conifer after 2 runs on ralphs and conditions were much better. Snow had really softened up and it felt like spring. Spring skiing is my favorite, thus I had a great time!
So, the last 8 years or so, I've taken my week skiing at Alta, but this year due to a few things, I was in Vermont. I left on the 27th and drove straight to Cuzzins and Mt. Snow, where my buddies were waiting for me. One lives up there full time and 2 others that I've known for years were there. My one buddy has a big, deep booming voice and 15 years ago would do a Doors Medley with Bruce Jacques, the Cuzzins' regular Sat. night entertainment. So, at one point, (after I downed a number of...

My ratio of groomers to trees was higher than expected, as temps didn't really warm that much up top. Upper 30s (a guess) wasn't enough to get the trees as soft as the groomers until later in the day.

We actually focused on lower mtn trees (Twister, Cirque) as they were deluxe.
