We wanted to klimb Tuckerman's Ravine in the White Mountains of New Hampshire today. It was a great day, and a ton of people were out. The parking lot was full and we had to park a quarter mile down the road. Some folks parked over a mile away. Tucks is a place where you can watch some crazy good skiers do their thing on natural snow...

Great day at Magic today! Started right at 9 this morning and skied to around 4 with a break for a fresh grilled cheeseburger and a beer (or three)!
Went up to Sunday River with the NAC bus. Got in at 9:10; and on the slopes around 9:30. Lower Whitecap looks like it will close in a few days; it looks pretty sad over there; though White Heat skied very nicely. Not much snow in the woods in the White Cap area, but as you get more and more down to Jordan Bowl, it gets better. There were quite a bit of bare spots, and someone told me Sugarloaf is in the same condition currently, minus the lower White Cap. There were quite a bit of bare spots...

Trip Report: Stellar spring day at Saddlback. Day started off a bit firm when we clicked in around 9AM, but it quickly went mashed potato city as temps climbed into the 50's. The bumps were super soft and by the end of the day getting car-sized in spots!

Next thing you know, I've got 3 in me before 9:30 thanks to my beer bottle pockets. Such nice skiing all day.
Fun afternoon in hero snow/big bumps (except a little grabby down low) at Mad River Glen this afternoon. Fall Line/Creamery were almost easy ... *almost*. This place never fails to humble me, e.g. Chute for the last run of the day, though I got my groove back on Upper/Lower Glades to wrap it up. Upper 2/3 of Lower Antelope were excellent for first run of the afternoon. I love pow but spring skiing rocks.

Trip Report: So today I made it up to Wildcat. I have to say, I love the retro vibe to the place, and the classic narrow New England ski trails. I arrived up there around 9:30am (I was flying from Waltham!) and skied to about 2ish, when it began to get very soft. I hit up every trail, for the most part, except one or two bumped along the lift line...

Escaped to North peak, Sunrise was beautiful but rest of North Peak needed another hour. Flume was a rock hard sheet of ice. Day trip, got there about noon. If there was corn earlier, obviously, I missed it, but the snow wasn't too wet or heavy despite strong sun and 50*F. At the end of the day, it did get a bit like mashed potatoes, but hey, that's spring. For the most part, it skied really well. quick visit for me today, goal was to get as comfortable as possible with the lower right kicker which was killing me last week when i was there.

Ran into Brownsville Brooklyn, MadRiverJack and MRJ's buddy Frank and skied a bit with them.

Early attempt on the lower right kicker were ugly. 1st time i simply landed on the flat part, 2nd time on the knuckle resulting in a double ejection & somersault finally coming to rest 20 feet...

F.I.S. was OFF THE HOOK!!! Probably a top five bump day today due to that one trail alone. Insanely good spring bumps, perfect condition, good lines, nice size and pitch, etc. I explored other parts of the mountain including Doc's,...

Today we were first on the lifts, and it was frozen crud/cord. By 10 it was soft spring, and we quit at 11am. Too soft/thick.

I'm guessing that parts of the mountain were okay for longer. Plus, a snowboard was probably good for much longer. However, my light bride, and 240 me were just not enjoying the deep soft.
